It will take 24hrs for bank to close your account, or a maximum of 48hrs for bank to permanently close a customer’s account after all the necessity has been done.

You can’t close and reopen a bank account. If you close your bank account with a bank, all your data or information will be removed from the bank database.
With this it is not possible to reopen a closed bank account, instead you will have to open a new one. However, if you recently closed the account and your data is still with the bank, your bank account may be reopened.
Though this case is very rare to see.
